High-Rise Painting

Elastomeric systems for towers. Electrostatic for railings, windows, and aluminum frames. Applied by crews who paint at altitude every day.

High-Rise Painting — Florida's Choice Contracting

Finish

High-Rise Painting.

Coastal paint that survives the next decade on the Atlantic isn't a color choice — it's a system. Surface preparation, primer compatibility, mil thickness, expansion-joint integration. We've painted towers from sixteen stories to forty-two, plus their balcony railings, window frames, and aluminum doors with electrostatic application that bonds where rollers can't reach.

Our high-rise paint programs almost always start with a pressure-wash and substrate condition survey. We log every chalking field, every alligatoring section, every exposed substrate where the previous coating has failed. The findings feed both the surface-prep scope (which is usually 60% of the labor) and the coating selection — buildings with chronic chalking get an oil-bonding primer, buildings with movement get an elastomeric system that will bridge hairline cracking, buildings with delaminated stucco get repair before any coating touches them.

Electrostatic painting is its own specialty. Aluminum railings, window frames, and door systems — the metalwork that defines a tower's facade — are charged with high voltage, sprayed with oppositely-charged paint, and the coating wraps around the substrate to coat sides a brush will never reach. The result is uniform film thickness on every surface of every baluster, far better adhesion than you'd get from manual application, and a finish that can be cured in place without removing or disassembling the railing system. We've done electrostatic programs across millions of linear feet of South Florida railings.

Scope of work

  • Surface preparation & priming
  • Stucco-friendly coating systems
  • Color matching to architectural intent

Our approach

How we run the job.

  • Color & coating consultation with the building's design team
  • Manufacturer warranties on every applied system
  • Wind and weather windows planned around hurricane season
  • Resident notification protocol for occupied buildings
